This fully restored 1939 Buick was purchased brand new in Kingman, Arizona by its original owner and remained in Kingman until being brought to Colorado by the Trustee of the Original Owner's Estate. This Buick has been fully restored using NOS and Reproduction parts to present the vehicle as was when new in 1939.
The Special sits on Buicks 120" famous sealed chassis the Dynaflash Straight Eight engine produced 107 Horsepower at 3400 RPM. The "3 on the Tree" Synchro-Mesh Transmission has a new Hardy-Shift Lever within the span of the new trimmed Steering Wheel. The shift lever also incorporates the "New for 1939" turn signal switch.
This Rust-Free fully restored Special was painted by Fast Times Inc. in Estes Park, Colorado using Dupont Chromapremier Basecoat clear over Valiprime and Chroma 4:1 Urethane 2K primer. When Painted, all seals, grommets and weather stripping were replaced. Bumpers were removed and rechromed.
